emotions before camp

  1. What emotions are you feeling before we go on camp? What are you excited or nervous about? What worries you? 

I am feeling excited because we are going on camp at Mt Ruapehu. I have never been to snow before. 

I am afraid of skiing down the mountain because I haven’t done that before.

I am worried about leaving my family.

2. What is the event or place that is going to push you to your limit? 

Snowboarding because it’s something that I have never done before.

The mountain will be cold and I don’t like snow cold.

3. What are you going to gain from camp?

Doing things I haven’t done before.

More confidence to look after myself

4. How do you think you will feel after camp?

I will be happy because I will be at home with my Mum, Dad, tesalonia and Kayci.

I will be sad because I will miss the Mt Ruapehu.

food pyramid

In the class we did our food pyramid for our healthy eating habit for Inquiry. We had to find information about how much serving of healthy foods we need everyday. The  food pyramid has five sections. They are bread and cereal, milk and cheese, vegetables, meat, fish, eggs and nuts, and the last one is fats and sweets. We all put five things in order. We put the picture of the food into the right groups. I learnt which foods are healthy and unhealthy. I found finding fruits and vegetables easy but finding information about nuts was difficult. We should eat more healthy fruits and vegetables everyday. Here is a picture of my food pyramid down below:
