beach clean T3

On the 27th  of September the seniors of Waikowhai Primary School went for a beach clean up.  We had to wear our orange beanies so our teachers could see us from far away. We stood outside our school with our signs. We put our signs up and waved to the people in the cars. We walked down to the beach with our climate change signs. When we arrived at the beach we put our climate change signs away in Mrs Najak's car. We sat down on the ground then we were put in to different groups and I was in Mrs Jones group. Then we split up with our groups to clean up the beach. We found lots of rubbish like glass bottles and food scraps. We had nine bags of rubbish. Once we finished picking up all the rubbish on the beach, we walked back to our school. Whsen we got back at school Mrs Najak gave us some nice ice block and then we ate our lunch. It was a really great day and I had so much fun.

  1. Kaiora Zion the beach clean sounds so much fun I wasn't there that day so I bet you had a blast. I love the pictures you put up they were really funny and cool pictures. You must have picked up a lot of rubbish and had so much fun. It looks like you helped out a lot and looks like you were a tidy kiwi with everyone else to help you. Bye
