Getting to Know You 

In writing we had to do getting to know you. Getting to know you is what you do at home and what things we like or things that we don't like. We had to give information about my family. I really enjoy writing about my family. The thing that I found most difficult was the part about what is important to my family. I hope you enjoy reading about me and my family.

swimming at cameron pools

This term we have been swimming at Cameron Pools. We go to the pools on Tuesday and Thursday. The middle and senior school are very lucky that they go to Cameron Pools for swimming . I go with my class Waitemata for swimming.  I have learnt arm strokes and how to float on my back. We wore a life jacket and floated on our backs. My favourite thing about swimming is when I get to jump in the cold water. I find it hard to keep my hands straight for the strokes. I really like swimming at the pools.

New playground

Our new playground was open on 26th of July. It was a windy day. I was very excited. All the classes walked to the new playground. The Kapahaka group sang a few songs. Then Mr Craig and Miss McGrath cut the ribbon to open the playground. My favourite is the slide. I also like flying fox. I am very happy because we have a new playground on our school.
